Join a wonderful family in New York as an afternoon childcare provider for their delightful 3-year-old daughter!
**About the Role:**
We're seeking a caring, patient, and engaging babysitter to provide after-school care Monday through Friday. Pick up your charge at 3:00pm from nearby preschool and care for her until 6:00pm.
**Your Responsibilities:**
• Pick up from preschool (10-minute walk from home)
• Plan and lead fun activities—park visits, playdates, puzzles, reading
• Supervise interactive playtime
• Prepare healthy snacks and help with dinner
• Assist with bath time and light laundry
• Provide a warm, nurturing environment
**What We're Looking For:**
• Patient, responsible, and playful caregiver
• Strong engagement skills with young children
• Excellent communication and reliability
• Current vaccinations required
• Background check and references
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
**Schedule & Compensation:**
• Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-6:00pm (flexible to 2-5 days/week)
• $20-$27/hour based on experience
• Flexible start date around March 2nd, 2026
