We're seeking a caring individual to provide supervised childcare and support for our elementary-aged child with special needs. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's life through patience, encouragement, and engaging activities.
**Position Details:**
• Location: Glen Burnie, MD
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• Hours: 2:00 PM - 7:30 PM (hours vary based on weekly needs)
• Schedule: Flexible throughout the week
• Pay: $10-$17/hour
**Your Responsibilities:**
• Provide attentive care and supervision
• Engage the child in age-appropriate activities
• Assist with homework and tutoring support
• Prepare healthy snacks and meals
• Transport the child as needed (you'll have your own car)
• Care for our friendly Shih Poo: daily walks and feeding
**What We're Looking For:**
• Valid driver's license and reliable car
• Comfort and experience working with children with special needs
• Pet-friendly and animal-loving
• Patient, kind, and nurturing demeanor
• Ability to create a safe, supportive environment
