We're seeking a compassionate and experienced babysitter to care for our elementary-aged child with special needs in Chicago.
**About the Role:**
This is an occasional, as-needed babysitting position with a flexible start date (ideally by March 1st, 2026). You'll be the trusted caregiver for one wonderful child, providing support, encouragement, and a safe, nurturing environment.
**Your Responsibilities:**
• Prepare nutritious snacks and meals
• Assist with homework in a patient and supportive way
• Manage bedtime routines
• Engage in fun, age-appropriate activities
• Handle light housekeeping tasks
**What We're Looking For:**
• Previous experience working with children who have special needs (required)
• Patience, flexibility, and genuine compassion
• Strong ability to build positive relationships
• Reliability and commitment to safety
• First aid certification is a plus
**Compensation:**
$10.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
