We're seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver for our adult son with autism this summer.
**About the Role:**
This is a meaningful caregiving position supporting an individual who functions at a toddler level and experiences chronic pain. You'll provide comfort, patience, and specialized support during a flexible 40-hour per week schedule.
**Schedule Options:**
• 8am-5pm shifts, OR
• 4:30pm-11pm shifts, OR
• Overnight availability
The schedule varies week-to-week, with potential for a long-term summer commitment.
**Your Responsibilities:**
• Provide compassionate daily care and behavioral support
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Medication administration
• Comfort care for chronic pain management
• Light laundry duties
• Bedtime routines and sick care
**What We're Looking For:**
• Proven experience with autism and toddler-level care
• Patient, attentive, and compassionate demeanor
• Ability to work with a medically vulnerable individual
• COVID-19 awareness and health-conscious practices
• College student or gap year candidate preferred
• Reliability and commitment to summer-long engagement
**Compensation:** $32-$43/hour
