We're seeking an experienced, compassionate babysitter to provide daily care for our 11-year-old son in Chicago.
**About Your Role:**
You'll be the primary caregiver for our son during school hours and after-school time. Your responsibilities include:
• Transporting him to and from school
• Providing supervision and care until I arrive home from work
• Supporting his emotional and developmental needs
**About Our Son:**
Our son has Autism, ADHD, and well-controlled Epilepsy (managed by medication). He's never been cared for by someone outside our family, so this is a significant transition. Your experience and patience with neurodivergent children will be essential to his comfort and success.
**Living Situation:**
We live in a small apartment with my mother, who has been his primary caregiver since birth. She'll be at home but has limited mobility, so you'll be the main point of contact.
**Schedule:**
• Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
• Flexible start date
• $22-$26/hour based on experience
**What We're Looking For:**
• Proven experience working with children on the Autism spectrum
• Patient, empathetic, and reliable
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• First Aid certification and background check required
