Looking for a responsible and reliable after-school childcare provider in Golden Valley, MN.
**Position Overview:**
Provide occasional after-school care for well-behaved children when parents travel for work. This is a flexible, part-time role perfect for someone seeking variable hours with predictable scheduling.
**Schedule:**
Primary Hours: 2:35 p.m. - 4:35 p.m. on weekdays
Frequency: 3-4 days per week during parent travel (with 1-week advance notice)
**Your Responsibilities:**
• Greet children after school and provide a safe, welcoming environment
• Supervise homework and age-appropriate activities
• Gently encourage children to complete their daily chores
• Maintain open communication with parents
**About the Family:**
Caring for mature, well-behaved children (ages 6-11) who are self-sufficient and easy to work with.
**Requirements:**
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (driving to Golden Valley required)
• Non-smoker
• Trustworthy and dependable
