Are you a compassionate, patient caregiver who thrives working with children who need extra emotional support? We're looking for an experienced sitter to join our Denver family!
**About the Role:**
Provide after-school care for our three wonderful kids (ages 7, 9, and 12) who benefit from structure, consistency, and skilled behavioral support.
**Your Responsibilities:**
• Pick up kids from school and transport to extracurricular activities
• Support homework completion and academic success
• Help with emotional regulation and positive behavior redirection
• Prepare nutritious snacks and light meals
• Handle light housekeeping and laundry
• Maintain open communication with our family
**What We're Looking For:**
• Experience working with children with behavioral or emotional needs (ADHD, ODD, trauma-informed care, etc.)
• Calm, confident presence under pressure
• Ability to set healthy, compassionate boundaries
• Non-smoker with own transportation
• Pet-friendly (we have a dog!)
• LGBTQ+ friendly environment
**Schedule & Compensation:**
Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-6:30pm
4-5 days per week (minimum 12 hours guaranteed)
$30-33/hour
Start Date: March 2
