Weekend Childcare for 11yo with Autism

Looking for a compassionate, reliable babysitter to join our family!

About the Role:

We need a dedicated weekend babysitter for our 11-year-old son who has Autism. This is a long-term position perfect for someone seeking consistent, ongoing work.

Schedule:

• Minimum one day per weekend

• Morning to early afternoon hours

• Start date: flexible, ideally within the next 2 weeks

Your Responsibilities:

• Supervise age-appropriate activities and recreation

• Support with daily routines and tasks

• Maintain a safe, structured environment

• Provide patient, understanding care

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with children with special needs (Autism experience a plus!)

• Strong ability to manage routines and prioritize safety

• Reliable, consistent, and trustworthy

• Patient, compassionate approach

• Willingness to learn our son's individual needs and preferences

Compensation:

• $20-$23 per hour

Location: Bethesda, MD
