Join our family as an after-school companion for our wonderful 7th grade son! We're seeking a friendly, patient 'hang out buddy' who can connect with him over his passions.
🎮 About Him:
Our son is super smart, creative, and loves gaming, movies, and imaginative play with figures (Godzilla, Jurassic Park). He has ADHD and sensory sensitivities, and experiences some social anxiety—but he thrives with mature, understanding adults and peers.
📅 Position Details:
• When: Monday-Thursday, 1:30 PM - 5:30/6:00 PM
• Start: Flexible, as early as March 9th
• Pay: $23-$27/hour
• Location: Chicago, IL
✨ What You'll Do:
• Hang out, game, watch movies, and engage in creative play
• Prepare snacks and light meals
• Provide reliable, friendly companionship
• Help with occasional transportation
🌟 Ideal Candidate:
• Experience with special needs (ADHD/sensory issues) a plus
• Comfortable with pets
• Reliable, engaging, and genuinely interested in connecting with teens
• Valid driver's license and own transportation
