**Position Overview**
We're seeking a reliable, energetic babysitter to provide weekday childcare for our toddler and preschooler. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while working with a flexible, understanding family.
**Schedule**
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Start Date: March 1, 2026
Note: The family's schedule may shift weekly due to FDNY commitments, so flexibility is key!
**Your Responsibilities**
• Pick up 3-year-old from daycare at 2:30 PM
• Supervise engaging playtime and educational activities
• Prepare nutritious snacks and light meals
• Handle light housekeeping and tidying
• Support daily routines (meals, transitions, bedtime prep)
• Provide safe, nurturing care and attention
• Use outings for learning and fun activities
**What We're Looking For**
• Own reliable vehicle for transportation and outings
• Responsible, caring, and creative caregiver
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules
• Experience with toddlers and preschoolers
• Background in childcare preferred
**Compensation**
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
