About This Role
We're looking for 2-3 compassionate companions to support our 29-year-old son with social outings, communication assistance, and daily activities. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference while enjoying flexible work that fits your schedule!
About Our Son
Our son is a friendly, social person with autism and apraxia. He communicates through writing and verbal language and loves spending time with people. He's eager to engage with supportive companions who can help him navigate social situations and explore the community.
What You'll Do
• Plan and accompany him on outings and community activities
• Provide communication support and encouragement
• Prepare snacks and light meals
• Help with light housekeeping tasks
• Assist with errands and transportation
What We're Looking For
• A valid driver's license and your own reliable car
• Genuine interest in supporting someone with autism (no prior experience required—we'll train you!)
• Flexibility with scheduling; we work around YOUR availability
• Willingness to help with light housekeeping
Schedule & Compensation
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flexible start times)
• Available: Weekdays, weekends, and evenings (you choose what works for you!)
• Pay: $26-$31/hour
• Start Date: Flexible
