Position Overview:
We're seeking a reliable and compassionate sitter for our 12-year-old son who has mild autism. He's an independent and great kid—we just need someone present when he arrives home from school.
Schedule:
• Monday - Friday
• 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM (1 hour per day)
• Start Date: February 2, 2026
The Role:
• Greet your charge when he arrives via bus around 2:45 PM
• Provide a safe, supportive presence at home
• Minimal supervision needed—mostly companionship
• Easy, stress-free work!
What We're Looking For:
• Experience with special needs or neurodivergent youth
• Calm, patient, and reliable personality
• Punctual and dependable
Compensation:
• $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Location:
Newark, NJ (near Orange Street Light Rail)
