Join a family in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood as an occasional babysitter for a fun and engaging 3-year-old boy!
About the Role:
We're looking for a caring, energetic sitter to provide childcare on an as-needed basis starting March 20th, 2026. Our son attends preschool M-F, but we need reliable support during school closures including admin days, spring break, and holidays.
What You'll Do:
• Engage in creative playtime and learning activities
• Read stories and encourage imagination
• Prepare snacks and lunch
• Support potty training with patience and consistency
• Facilitate nap time routines
• Take advantage of the nearby park for outdoor play (weather permitting)
About Us:
The parent works from home, so you'll have support and clear communication throughout the day. We value someone who is communicative, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
Requirements:
• Reliability and enthusiasm
• Strong communication skills
• Having a car is a plus!
Compensation: $22-$24 per hour
