Hello! My name is Collete, and I’m a San Diego native who truly loves this community. I have over 12 years of experience working with children, beginning in the nonprofit world where I taught and cared for students ranging from preschool age through the university level. Throughout my career, I have regularly completed required background checks and clearances as part of my professional roles working with children and families.

I hold a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, but most importantly, I am also a mom to two wonderful children (and two fur pups!). Being a parent has deepened my understanding of how important it is to feel confident, comfortable, and at ease when entrusting someone with your little ones.
