Meet Heidi: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Placentia, CA

Caring for children has been at the heart of my career for more than 20 years. I am a certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and have worked for 19 years as a Neonatal Registered Nurse. As a mother of 3 grown children, I pair strong professional experience with real-life insight into caring for little ones. This background has provided me with extensive knowledge, strong clinical judgment, and a calm confidence to care for newborns.

I also have 10 years of experience as a School Nurse, which has given me invaluable opportunities to work closely with children from preschool through high school. This role strengthened my ability to communicate effectively with children of all ages, understand their developmental needs, and support them with patience, confidence, and compassion.

I am now transitioning from hospital and school nursing into supporting families directly within their homes. I hold certifications in BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS and First Aid.
