A bit about my background: I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with specialized coursework in early childhood development. I’ve also spent 2 years working in an elementary school with special needs and neurodivergent children—and I loved it. I’m passionate about supporting kids’ emotional and developmental growth, and I bring a calm, playful, and supportive energy to my work.
In addition to my childcare experience, I also worked as a 911 dispatcher for a year, which taught me how to stay calm and problem-solve quickly in high-pressure situations. I carry that same steady presence into my work with children and families.
Before starting my master’s program in social work (child development focus), I’m hoping to find a great family or two to help care for their littles with love and intention.
Some of the areas I help with include:
• Routines (morning, nap, bedtime)
• Infant care: diapering, bottle feeding, introducing solids
• Simple meal prep for kids
• Tidying play areas & child-related laundry
• Creative play, outdoor adventures, and walks
• Reading together & educational play
• Homework assistance and school support
