Hi, my name is Eliza Morris and I am looking for a summer job as an all day nanny/babysitter! I am in the process of becoming First Aid/CPR certified and I have been babysitting for over 5 years, with experience as a camp counselor. I have worked with kids ages 8 months to 12 years old. My passion has always been childhood development. I grew up as the youngest of 5 and have been impacted greatly by my siblings' influence, and it has made chaos the norm in my world. As I grew up, I knew I was meant to be a caregiver and have worked in multiple positions to grow these skills. My teaching experience and nanny background have taught me the importance of clear communication with parents, proactive planning, and flexibility. I am a certified teacher in NYS for Early Childhood (Birth-Grade 2), Elementary Education (K-6), and for Students with Disabilities (PK-12). On top of these certifications, I have my Epilepsy, CPR, and First Aid Certifications. I consider my creativity and energy my two greatest strengths. My active lifestyle was built on growing up as a multi-sport athlete, and I have transitioned the energy into creative projects such as painting banners. Although I love creating and starting new projects, spending the day playing outside with the children would be the highlight of the job.
