I worked at a camp this past summer for children/teens with disabilities and learned so much! I love seeing kids grow and have a passion for helping them! I am also certified in adult/pediatric CPR/First Aid.

Hello! I have been working with kids for over 11 years in different roles, as a preschool teacher, camp counselor, nanny. I’ve worked with all ages and I’m confident working with any age. I’m looking for occasional babysitting jobs and potentially a morning nanny position. I love working with kids and I have experience working with neurodivergent kids. I’m also comfortable being around cats and dogs!

I enjoy partnering with parents to ensure children receive the nurturing, consistency, care, and fun they need. I am a kid at heart and love to get down on the floor (or up in a play structure) to play with kids, encouraging their imagination, doing age appropriate science and art projects, adventuring outdoors, and facilitating their brain development through play, reading, and singing. It is important to me to model empathy, respect, and acceptance with the goal of empowering children to solve problems. Additionally, I am very skilled at multi-tasking and time management to ensure the safety and well being of all children in my care. Biggest strength: I give kids the attention they deserve! I am regularly referred to by parents as the ‘kid whisperer’ or ‘Pied Piper.’ While some believe I have magical powers (especially toddlers!), in truth, I am simply present and attuned to their needs and wants, through the laughter and tears. I have 13+ years experience as a babysitter, nanny, birth and postpartum doula, and night nanny for children birth to 15 years of age, providing care for up to 5 children at a time both in the family’s home and traveling. I have worked with single parent, blended, multiracial, & LGBTQ+ families, have experience with twins, ADD/ADHD, autism, food allergies, trauma, and preemie infant health issues.
