I love working with children and have grown up taking care of my younger sister, which helped me become very patient, responsible, and comfortable around kids. I am currently in my second year of college pursuing a nursing degree. As a student nurse, I have worked and interned in hospital settings, where I developed strong caregiving, safety, and communication skills. I am attentive, reliable, and genuinely enjoy helping children feel safe, supported, and happy.

I am 17 and the oldest of 6! I’ve been taking care of babies personally for 8 years and professionally for 3! I’m most experienced with newborns and infants but have so much fun with toddlers and can tutor older kids in reading and writing! I know my way around the kitchen and am comfortable with cats! I hold a CPR certification and know first aid. I’m aware of allergens and other conditions like asthma, anxiety etc!

I enjoy partnering with parents to ensure children receive the nurturing, consistency, care, and fun they need. I am a kid at heart and love to get down on the floor (or up in a play structure) to play with kids, encouraging their imagination, doing age appropriate science and art projects, adventuring outdoors, and facilitating their brain development through play, reading, and singing. It is important to me to model empathy, respect, and acceptance with the goal of empowering children to solve problems. Additionally, I am very skilled at multi-tasking and time management to ensure the safety and well being of all children in my care. Biggest strength: I give kids the attention they deserve! I am regularly referred to by parents as the ‘kid whisperer’ or ‘Pied Piper.’ While some believe I have magical powers (especially toddlers!), in truth, I am simply present and attuned to their needs and wants, through the laughter and tears. I have 13+ years experience as a babysitter, nanny, birth and postpartum doula, and night nanny for children birth to 15 years of age, providing care for up to 5 children at a time both in the family’s home and traveling. I have worked with single parent, blended, multiracial, & LGBTQ+ families, have experience with twins, ADD/ADHD, autism, food allergies, trauma, and preemie infant health issues.
