Meet Natalie: A nanny in Washington, DC

Hi, my name is Natalie. I have over 9 years of babysitting experience and have also worked as a summer camp counselor and volunteered with children at Project Horizon Shelter during my undergraduate internship. I’ve cared for kids of all ages, from infants to teens, and I have hands-on experience with children who have special needs.

Most recently, I worked with a five-year-old boy with level 3 autism, supporting him through daily routines and applying ABA techniques at home in coordination with his therapy team. I’ve also helped with speech, OT, and ABA appointments, which gave me a deeper understanding of how to integrate therapy goals into everyday life. I also cared for his 3 yo sister. Additionally, I babysit for a 2 and 4 year old on the weekends. I love finding ways to connect with kids whether it’s through a craft, a fun activity, or playing pretend together. I think it can be such a special experience.

I love creating a safe, fun, and structured environment where kids can thrive. I’m currently located in Charlottesville, but I’m open to quickly relocating for the right full-time nanny position.
