Meet Deja: A nanny and babysitter in Essex, MD

I have over nine years of child care experience and a strong passion for nurturing and supporting children’s growth. I majored in Child Development in high school, where I gained foundational knowledge in early childhood education and developmental milestones. Currently, I’m enrolled in the nursing program at CCBC, expanding my skills in health, safety, and compassionate care—qualities that also strengthen my approach to working with children. As one of six siblings, I’ve naturally developed patience, empathy, and a family-oriented mindset that allows me to connect with children of all ages and create a positive, supportive environment for them to learn and thrive.
