Meet Christel: A nanny in The Woodlands, TX

My name is Christel. I have three wonderful children, ages 26, 24, & 18years old. My passion has always been working with children since the young age of 12,

babysitting for families around the neighborhood.

I was a preschool teacher, a live-in nanny, and an on-call nanny with 9 years of professional experience.

I then went on to become a mother of my own children.

I took time off from working to raise my family and volunteer at my children’s school.I have come back

to the workforce and currently work for Nannies of The Woodlands. I work as a on-call nanny for families

in need of back up or childcare.

I worked for The Children’s Lighthouse Preschool from March 2022-October 2022, as a lead teacher for the

2-3 year old class. I have successfully completed an online certification of Child Growth and Development

from infancy- School Age 2022. I will be continuing to add certifications to further my learning.

My passion is working alongside families to create a healthy growing learning environment and schedule

that best suits the family’s needs. I keep a daily based journal along with photos to keep the parents in

touch with the daily happenings and events. I will also incorporate a learning environment along with

attending any classes to promote the child’s development. I am currently finishing my certification in Newborn Care Specialist and Infant Sleep Trainer.
