Meet Sydney: A babysitter in Tualatin, OR

Hi, my name is Sydney. I’ve been caring for children since I was young, starting with church childcare and babysitting for families. Over the years, I’ve worked with children of all ages from infants to middle schoolers both in small groups and larger settings.

I studied Child Development for three years in high school, which gave me a strong understanding of children’s growth and caregiving practices. I’ve also been a camp counselor at Outdoor School and most recently worked as a daycare teacher at Little Feet Childcare, where I cared for and taught children from infants up to five years old. I was recently let go due to low enrollment, not performance.

I’m currently in college, continuing to build my education and experience in working with children. Through these opportunities, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, multitasking, and creating safe, fun, and nurturing environments for kids.
