Meet Kate: A nanny and babysitter in Long Beach, CA

Hi! I'm an almost empty-nest mother with a Senior in high school. I have professional childcare and education experience in private homes, resorts, guest ranches, and marine environments. I volunteer as a cetacean naturalist and maritime educator locally. I also work part-time on my own schedule as an environmental and safety compliance inspection surveyor on container ships and oil tankers here in the local ports. I spend much of my free time playing outstde in the tidepools or my gardens. I also love to cook and have experience as a private chef and housekeeper for a family during the pandemic. I'm familiar with a variety of dietary and sensory issues and can find creative ways to accommodate. I still love to learn and play every day and that comes through in how I care for others.
