Meet Sara: A nanny and babysitter in Sunset Cliffs, CA

Hello! My name is Sara, and I’m a 25-year-old graduate from Point Loma Nazarene University, where I earned my degree in Education with an emphasis in Biology. During my time at PLNU, I had the unique opportunity to work at different schools each semester, which allowed me to gain valuable experience with a wide range of children across various age groups. Currently, I’m employed at the Rock Academy, where I work in the After School Program. In this role, I support students aged 5 to 12 years old by monitoring activities, enforcing school rules, organizing and leading events, assisting with homework, and addressing behavioral concerns. I also maintain clear communication with parents and help with general upkeep of the space. I also have experience as a nanny from 2019 to 2021 and have also cared for my newborn nephew, which has further enhanced my ability to support and nurture children in different settings.

I have a deep passion for working with children of all ages, which is why I chose to pursue a career in education. I am so excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact and look forward to hearing from you!
